Slo-Mo

Slo-Mo I made my light painting photos by setting my camera up on a tripod, having the timer set to 4 seconds, and then I moved my phone light around in the mirror while the photo was being taken. I liked taking the photos, but I found it awkward going in the bathroom to take the picture and turning the lights off. The results paid off though, and I feel like light painting had my best results. In order to take my panning photos, I put on a timer for under a second and then moved the camera quickly along with the moving subject. I had to put on a dark filter in order to take photos outside, where it's very bright. I found it very hard and time consuming to get a couple good and clear panning photos. In order to take my blur photos, I set my timer for around 3 seconds. It was hard to get color because many of my blur photos were too dark or light.

Multi-Frame Storytelling

Multi-Frame Storytelling I approached this project through trying to have some sort of fake body figure like a mannequin be the subject of the piece. I also tried to have the other image that does not have a mannequin be a reflection of whatever the mannequin's feelings may be. This entire collection is sort of a story because it shows how the mannequin feels at different times in different places. I also made all of my images black and white in order to tie the entire collection together.
