Slo-Mo
I made my light painting photos by setting my camera up on a tripod, having the timer set to 4 seconds, and then I moved my phone light around in the mirror while the photo was being taken. I liked taking the photos, but I found it awkward going in the bathroom to take the picture and turning the lights off. The results paid off though, and I feel like light painting had my best results. In order to take my panning photos, I put on a timer for under a second and then moved the camera quickly along with the moving subject. I had to put on a dark filter in order to take photos outside, where it's very bright. I found it very hard and time consuming to get a couple good and clear panning photos. In order to take my blur photos, I set my timer for around 3 seconds. It was hard to get color because many of my blur photos were too dark or light.

Your light painting is your strongest work. Keep up the good work. I especially like the first one!
ReplyDeleteI really lived how creative your light paintings were. I also really enjoyed how blurred your backgrounds were during your panning images. All of the cars are super focused and really nice. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteI liked the different colors and shapes you included in your light paintings. I think your panning could be a little stronger, but other than that great work!
ReplyDeleteI really liked your abstract photos because of the way you brought out one specific color scheme. Your purple light painting is also really interesting because of the way you faded the color out on the right side. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteI like your second to last photo most, my only suggestion is to differentiate between the styles, because blur and panning kind of overlap.
ReplyDeleteI thought your panning could have been a bit more clear, but your motion blur was very detailed and creative
ReplyDeleteI liked the variety of cars you took in your set of images. I would have liked to see a couple images of people, because it seemed to look nice in other artist's pictures. I think you captured the main goal of this project. Amazing Job!
ReplyDeleteI like your photos. Good work
ReplyDeletei love your light painting
