Best of Spring Series

Best of Spring Series I decided for these specific images to be in my best of series because they all created flow in the image. The rule of thirds was even incorporated into my picture of David. I also tried to make the colors stand out from their background. I also added one more  picture  of Liam, the second to last picture in this series. On the whole, I really liked doing this project because the result of it was fun, despite how long it may take to edit each image.

Spring Project 3

Spring Project 3 I went all out for this series. I had taken many photos over the past weeks, and I was able to edit all of them this week. I'm really proud of how this week turned out because I created a sense of flow in each image, despite having a wider range of subjects in the series. I used more natural lighting this time too, and I avoided creating silhouettes. One of the problems with this specific post is that the dimensions of each image are not consistent. This has been a very fun but tedious project to work with.

Spring Project 2

Spring Project 2 I'm really proud of how this week has come along. I've decided to try to expand the area of the photograph, and by doing so increasing the number of people in the images. This is especially the case with my first photo of Liam. I spent a lot of time on this one because I had to consider the lighting as well as the number of pictures of Liam in my image. I'm also starting to try to create a sense of flow in my images through the placement of each figure.

Spring Project 1

Spring Project 1 For my Spring Project, I decided to do a style of photos where there are multiple people (of the same person) in the same frame. In order to create these photos, I had to have my subject move around in the same frame for as many times as their figure is in the picture. I made sure that the lighting would stay the same between these photos in order to make it seem like the collage is just one raw photo. I also tried to place the subjects in backgrounds that would make the overall photo more abstract. I also tried to make the height difference between the different subjects greater. For the editing, I had to do a complex series of overlapping and erasing on pic monkey. I'm really excited about this project so far.

Class Project 2

Class Project 2 I tried to recreate Kiki's levitation series by taking a picture of Kiki while she is levitating and doing an ordinary task, like opening a locker. I tried to recreate Casey's series by taking a picture of her in front of a scenery. I tried to recreate Sophie's series by taking a long exposure picture of her walking and then putting it into black and white.  I tried to recreate Anna's series by taking a picture of her against a solid color background, putting a comicy filter on it, and then giving Anna a speech bubble to say something. I tried to recreate David's levitation series by taking a picture of David while he is levitating and doing an ordinary task, like opening a door.

Class Project 1

Class Project 1 I tried to recreate Lauren's fall series by taking black and white pictures of Lauren while she was using her arms to make shapes. I tried to recreate Daro's miniature world by making Daro seem short by having him sit under a table.  I tried to recreate Lakpa's photos by overlapping and fading her face with a scenic picture. I feel like this photo is really relaxing.  I tried to recreate Liam's photos by overlapping and fading his face with a scenic picture. I tried to recreate Armon's photos by taking a picture of him with abstract architecture behind him. I tried to recreate Stewart's photos by taking a picture of him sitting in an urban area. I also tried to make the picture look like Stewart wasn't aware of his photo being taken. I tried to recreate Danny's athlete series by taking a portrait of him. I tried to recreate Ava's ghost series by taking a picture of her, printing it out, a

Design 1

Design 1 For my images, I tried to make sure that my words were not too far off to the side. I tried to make the words the prominent feature in the image by putting them in the middle. I created two iterations of my work, "Go Go Go." I tried to make each iteration represent some part of the meaning of "Go Go Go." I also tried to make the color prominent in relation to the color of the image in order to make the text easy to distinguish. I also tried to make the font of the text represent what the album or book represents.
