Multi-Frame Storytelling
I approached this project through trying to have some sort of fake body figure like a mannequin be the subject of the piece. I also tried to have the other image that does not have a mannequin be a reflection of whatever the mannequin's feelings may be. This entire collection is sort of a story because it shows how the mannequin feels at different times in different places. I also made all of my images black and white in order to tie the entire collection together.

I really enjoy how you have a cohesive story in each image and how you have a very clear perspective to what you are trying to capture.

ReplyDeleteReally cool work this week! Each of your subjects seem to be facing off against the other subject in the collage and everything really builds off of each other. I don't understand the story in your first photo because I feel like the lights and darks are too complex and distracting, particularly with the glare off the windows. A simpler photo paired with the more complex glare of the windows might have suited your first collage better.
ReplyDeleteI really liked how you decided to make all your images flow into a story. All the images are so simple yet seem to have a complex meaning behind them and I think this is some great work that you have done.
ReplyDeleteThese are really good. All your photos really flow well together. Each photo really creates a feeling which is great in a photo. The different lighting is also really amazing. Nice job!
ReplyDeletePretty cool. Not bad at all. I think you could have played around with colors and lighting more, but that's just my opinion. Good job.
ReplyDeleteI like your use of layering in the last photo, it almost seemed like one photo. I enjoy all the abstract photos within your pieces. I think your strongest photos were the ones of a darker background frame. I also like the photos in which you had a thicker border which helps brighten the main center point. Great Work!
